Sustainable Energy

Sustainable energy can mean a lot of things to different people. For some people it means using solar and wind power which are sustainable resources but there are number of other methods for producing energy that are sustainable. Magnetic power and other alternative methods of producing power are being developed alongside more efficient wind and solar power generators.

Sustainable energy could also be nuclear energy if there was a suitable way of removing and disposing waste. Coal could be sustainable if it weren’t so negative to the environment and increasingly expensive and dangerous to procure. The same would be true for oil, but the destruction of people and the environment that are waged to drill it and the increasingly high cost and scarcity of it make it one of the worst options.

Sustainable energy shies away from combustion although it is one of the easiest and fastest ways of producing power. Though it produces abundant power it releases many harmful toxins back into the environment although gasifiers which produce natural gas from organic matter may be useful and less harmful.
